In the Winter of 1994, in beautiful downtown Eagle River, Alaska, a lonely manager of a Subway sandwich store and bassist for the legendary Alaskan pop-punk band, Pokey, wondered to himself “What would my zine look like if I made one?” and thus Oi! Punk fanzine was conceived and delivered. J.C. (nee Moz) later moved to Anchorage and then down to the lower 48, resting his heels in Houston and Pearland, Texas. The D.I.Y. spirit continued even as J.C. began making noise (recording with Red Light District, and simply as Moz) and changed the name of the zine to O.x.P.x., which had the added benefit of curtailing the deluge of free Oi cds into his crowded P.O. Box.... In the year 2000, O.x.P.x became no more. In it's place, rising like the Phoenix to fill its illustrious shoes, is the current love child of Moz: Drunk On Green Tea (yeah its a mixed metaphor.. but hey.. its a bird! it wears shoes! its a kid! no its the best damn zine this side of erm.. the Chukchi!)

Drunk On Green Tea will showcase the most important things in our lives.. politics.. music.. religion.. musings on culture.. inane comics..

Get Drunk!
